A small West Village nook turned quadruplex, Nicon used a mezzanine extension and basement space to turn a subterranean loft into a 4-floor apartment.  A newly custom kitchen helped turned a closed off space into an open setting with a kitchen island, counters and backsplash all wrapped in Carrara marble with antique floor tiling and newly custom kitchen cabinetry.  A custom glass divider with powder coated steel was utilized to divide the loft into a master bedroom with a master bath, converting a bath to shower. Tying these 3 floors together a refurbished staircase that led from the master bedroom to the mezzanine, as the common area, with newly installed red oak flooring throughout.  Finally, the barren basement space was converted into a guest room with a shower to bath conversion with lime paint finishes and terrazzo flooring throughout.
