CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Evan Frost has over twenty years of construction experience, including ownership, management, operations and development. A partner and the Chief Executive Officer at Nicon Build, Evan has successfully managed the construction of all project types, specializing in the commercial and residential sectors. Evan’s competitive edge and unmatched attention to detail have earned him a reputation as a pragmatic and knowledgeable construction expert. He has had hands-on experience in nearly every facet of the business, ranging from field and office operations, infrastructure, purchasing, and estimating pipeline development to the successful execution of all construction projects—from sales and pre-construction to construction, providing executive support throughout the process.
Evan is heavily involved in all aspects of the construction program, overseeing contract administration, cost control, and cash flow analysis. His ability to establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients, combined with a successful track record of project delivery, has proven to be an invaluable asset to Nicon Build’s leadership team.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
A 25-year veteran of the construction industry, Angelo Nicastro serves as Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Nicon Build, where he handles the day-to-day operations of the pre-construction and facility management units. Angelo is responsible for the company’s corporate strategy and has been instrumental in the expansion of Nicon Build’s presence as one of the industry’s most reputable contracting firms.
With a BS in Civil Engineering, Angelo is a master builder with experience in all facets of construction: residential, commercial retail, corporate, hospitality and facility management. He started in the construction industry as an estimator, assistant project manager and certified superintendent, which gave him experience working in the ever evolving building industry. With keen foresight and an unwavering commitment to clients, he has developed strong relationships throughout the greater New York and New Jersey areas.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As Chief Financial Officer of Nicon Build, Nicholas Losavio has transformed two decades of work at some of the most prestigious investment banks across the world and years of experience as an investment banking controller into the development of written procedures and controls for all aspects of the construction industry.
Nicholas’s responsibilities include the management of all day-to-day financial activity as well as the creation and validation of all financial reporting. In addition to managing financial functions and reporting, he oversees the finance department, which prepares budgets, forecasts and cash flows as well as the overall accounting processes, including preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheets, financial modeling and payroll processes.
Nicholas’s vast experience in both finance and construction gives him a progressive outlook and approach, helping to advance Nicon Build in an upward growth trajectory.
Gregory Frost oversees all aspects of Nicon Build’s legal function and leads a team of lawyers, legal and compliance professionals and support staff. His areas of responsibility include corporate governance, M&A and other transactional legal matters, litigation, ethics and compliance and enterprise risk management. He is also a member Nicon Build’s executive leadership team.
Prior to joining his son Evan at Nicon Build in 2017, Gregory’s background and experience included over six years of in-house associate and assistant general counsel for two Fortune 500 companies, eleven years as a partner in a law firm, and five years as CEO and chairman of a small cap public company. His experience includes structured financing, securitization credit enhancement, litigation, supervising law firms in numerous states, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leverage buyouts, stock offerings, and preparation of numerous S.E.C. security filings. Gregory oversaw and supervised the SEC investigation of a small cap public company resolved by receipt of an SEC “No Action Letter,” as well as acted as outside general counsel to an international bank with specific emphasis on assisting in creating a credit enhancement letter of credit department.
Director of Business & Project Development
Angela Salvatore serves as Director of Business Development and Project Executive at Nicon Build. She has more than 15 years of experience in operational management, from project initiation to completion, including but not limited to the RFP process, preconstruction, construction and close-out.
Angela’s leadership skills have played an integral part in the company’s strategic development efforts and overall growth and market diversity. Generating new business opportunities and developing new brand awareness throughout New York, she takes a personal role managing client relationships, while also implementing strategies to establish a rapport with new and potential clients.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Anthony Nacci brings 20 years of contracting and construction management experience to his role as Senior Project Manager. With over a decade of experience as a plumber and steamfitter, Anthony understands the importance of good leadership and the intricacies that come with coordination and teamwork. His projects result in a meticulously executed delivery from start to finish.
Anthony has built an extensive portfolio in both the residential and commercial sectors of construction. He oversees the management of all project phases, day-to-day site operations, and site construction management, specializing in hospitality and residential build-outs. Anthony is a strong leader who inspires and motivates his staff to perform at the highest level to exceed client expectations.
As a Project Manager, Jamie Coper oversees all phases of operations, including tracking and controlling construction schedules, costs and managing trade phasing and quality control, ensuring client expectations are met. His vast experience in construction management allows him to effectively spearhead projects that are strategically planned, managed and delivered on time and under budget.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, with a BPS in Hospitality Management, Jamie has naturally gravitated toward specializing in the build-out of some of Nicon Build’s most elaborate restaurant and food-hall projects. With a clear understanding of clients’ functionality needs, his experience in construction management and hospitality play a integral roll during the pre-construction and general construction phases, helping to exceed client expectations.
With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Kevin Romero started his career as a laborer and carpenter, eventually moving to a role in purchasing. His desire to excel resulted in a role as Project Manager Assistant, and leveraging his vast array of experience in all facets of construction, he was quickly promoted to Senior Estimator in pre-construction services.
Kevin oversees the estimating process for all project opportunities as well as the standardized procedures, methods and processes for estimating and pre-construction services. He reviews project plans and specifications and coordinates with the operations team to confirm complete scope, pricing, and conceptual budgets. He also reviews the general conditions schedule, SOW and site logistics as required.
Working closely with clients and design professionals throughout the pre-construction period, Kevin implements a collaborative approach for every opportunity, producing a successful project from pre-construction through project closeout.
